Western architecture.
The culture, which today we know as western, had its origin in
a series of towns of the Eastern zone of the Mediterranean Sea, that, with
happening of history, was extending their influence until including all the
coast of this sea. Later they were the great empires, like the Roman or the
macedónic, the ones in charge to extend its dominion by the well-known world.
The invasion of the Barbarian towns did not do but to strengthen the inherited
culture that from then is known like classic, and becomes a canon or model to
follow. The colonial empires have been imposing their criteria to the rest of
the towns to the present time; at the present time, the western culture extends
by the entire planet, although in each zone there is a certain degree of
mestization with the native cultures.
In the evolution of the western world there is a great amount
of parallel ways in different geographic zones. During the average age, three
empires develop simultaneously what we could know like classic culture: the
Byzantine in the Eastern Mediterranean, Islamic (with different centers from
being able in Asia, Africa and the south of Europe) and caroling in the center
of Europe. On the other hand, two of the extended religions more of the world
share their property to this generic culture: the Christianity and the Islam.
Both have an origin common in the Jewish religion and share the apostolate
necessity, which has favored its colonial expansion.
