 Bioclimátic architecture

Architecture. What is the bioclimátic architecture? It is that architecture that it designs to take advantage of the climate and the conditions of the surroundings with the purpose of obtaining a situation of thermal comfort in its interior.

It plays exclusively with the design and the architectonic elements, with no need to use complex mechanical systems, although it does not imply that it is not possible to be made compatible. The bioclimática architecture exclusively tries to play with the design of the house (directions, materials, openings of windows, etc.) in order to obtain power efficiency. The person interested in alternative architecture will be, nevertheless, with other terms that can have relation with which we are speaking. Passive solar architecture. It makes reference to the design of the house for the efficient use of the energy to pave. Since it does not use mechanical systems, intimately it is related to the bioclimática architecture, although this last one not only plays with the solar energy, but with other climatic elements. For that reason, the bioclimático term is more general, although both go in the same direction. Active solar architecture. It makes reference to the advantage of the energy to pave by means of mechanical and/or electrical systems: solar collectors (to warm up water or for heating) and photovoltaic panels (for obtaining of electrical energy). They can complement a bioclimática house. Use of renewable energies. One talk about those clean energies and that are not exhausted (they renew). For one it marries, in addition to the solar energy, of that or we have spoken, we can consider others, like the small Aeolian or hydraulic generators, or the methane generation from organic remainders. Sustainable architecture.

This architecture reflects on the environmental impact of all the processes implied in a house, from the materials of manufacture (obtaining that do not produce toxic remainders and do not consume much energy), the techniques of construction (that supposes a minimum environmental deterioration), the location of the house and its impact in the surroundings, the power consumption of same and the its impact, and the recycled one of the materials when the house has acted its as and is demolished. It is, therefore, a very generic term within as the bioclimática architecture can be fitted average as to reduce the impact of the power consumption of the house. Self-sufficient house. It makes reference to the techniques to obtain a certain independence of the house with respect to the centralized networks of provision (electricity, gas, water, and even foods), taking advantage of the resources the immediate surroundings (water of wells, streams or rain, photovoltaic energy of the sun or the wind, panels, orchards, etc.). The bioclimática architecture collaborates with the self-sufficiency in which it talks about the energy provision.
