DONATO BRAMANTE. Original
of Urbino, Twine works first in Milan and it is transferred to Rome after the
French invasion. In effect, then, the city Santa blooms under the impulse of the
Medicines who have fled of Florence, and the Pope Julio II. The Twine work is
developed between the end of quattrocento and principles of cinquecento. Their
creations in Milan include the church of Santiago and Santa Maria Delle Grazie
and the patio of the canúnica of San Ambrosio. In Rome the Template of San
Pietro in Montorio finishes. Twine continued applying to its style in the Patio
of Santa Maria of Pace of pilastres jónicks in the ground floor and Corinthians
in the discharge. The arrangement becomes more rigorous in the Patio of San
Damaso in the Vatican.
Finally, Twine without mentioning its preconceptions of San
Pedro cannot be left. It replaces the original basilica by a plane, where the
picture, as in works of Alberti a main paper plays. Although it is certain that
the main part is a Greek cross whose ends finish in absides, this one registers
almost perfectly in a picture, to which another one is superposed until
practically forming a Star of David. In the center and the angles semi-spherical
de la Cruz, cupolas. The work was reinforced by Miguel Angel, who, nevertheless,
treatment to respect the original plan. |
